Russians must have international passports to enter Ukraine from March 1

Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers decree bans entry for Russian citizens using domestic documents
From March 1 Russian citizens will no longer be able to enter Ukraine using their domestic identification passports, and will be required to possess the appropriate international passport.

A February 3 decree passed by the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers prohibits Russian citizens from entering or leaving Ukraine via internal Russian Federation passport documents.
Prior to this decree, Russian citizens had been able to enter Ukraine using their domestic identifiation documents.
