Poll shows Ukrainians ready to fight for Donbas

According to the poll ordered by ZN.UA and run by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, 62.8% of respondents approved of continuing to fight for Donbas.

Among these, 57.5% of Ukrainians in Eastern Ukraine and 36.1% summarily in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts are supportive of the idea.
While only 20.7% of respondents say it is necessary to fight for Donbas because it is part of Ukraine and Ukrainians live there, in the Luhansk oblast the figure is 52.2%.


The number of those who support fighting for Donbas as a part of Ukraine is 12 times higher than those who justify the fight by Donbas’ raw materials and industrial infrastructure.
