Aerial footage shot by a drone shows shell craters from intense fighting at Donetsk's international airport.
The Russian diplomats issued a statement saying that Ukraine allegedly has to surrender the Donetsk airport to the militants according to the Minsk agreements.
The Russian Foreign Ministry statement, posted on the official website reads, Censor.NET reports.
"The airport of Donetsk should be placed under the control of the insurgents (that is how the Russian separatist gangs of the "DPR" and "LPR" are called in Russia) according to the Minsk agreements. This matter has long been clenched because of the controversy over some other sections of the contact line. In the meantime, the Ukrainian Armed forces continue shelling of other villages and cities from the building of the Donetsk airport, killing civilians including women and children, destroying schools, houses and other civilian infrastructure facilities," the statement reads.
