The EU should get ready for ‘black scenario’ of events in Ukraine.
Head of the Foreign Ministry of Poland, Grzegorz Schetyna said in Brussels before meeting of foreign ministers of the EU countries, the press service of the Ministry reports, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrainska Pravda.
"I hope this will be a serious discussion, and we will write a scenario in case of Russian aggressive steps in the eastern and southern Ukraine. The EU must be ready for such black scenarios," Schetyna said.
According to him, in such a situation, the expansion of the list of banned individuals and the freezing of assets can be "clearly insufficient."
At the same time, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius said that ministers should discuss all possible sanctions, including economic ones, but meanwhile only personal restrictions will be imposed.
