Russian-terrorist forces’ offensive near 29th and 31st checkpoints was stifled
The night in the ATO area was tense, like yesterday. The terrorists fired at the Ukrainian soldiers using all types of weapons.

"The Ukrainian troops stifled Russian-terrorist forces' offensive near the 29th and 31st checkpoints," the statement reads.
According to the ATO headquarters, the terrorists began shelling the Ukrainian troops from the tank gun near the village of Donetskyi starting from 6:00 p.m.
"The terrorists shelled Krymske village for four times, Nyzhnioteple, Tonenke, and Pisky villages twice each, and committed shelling of Nyzhnie and Triokhizbenka villages using MLRS BM-21 Grad at the Luhansk, Donetsk and Debaltseve directions starting from 6:04 p.m. yesterday. The illegal armed groups conducted mortar and artillery strikes over the villages of Triokhizbenka, Novotoshkivske, Vilkhove, Toshkivka, Krasnohorivka, and Tonenke," the press center reported.
It is also noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue active operations in the Donetsk airport. An engagement took place not far from Marinka village at 00:10 a.m.
Ukrainian soldiers and Russian terrorists keep fighting near the 31st checkpoint in the Luhansk region.
This was announced by the NDSC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov in Kharkiv, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.
At the same time he stressed that the 29th checkpoint is under total control of the Ukrainian soldiers.
"The situation in the hostilities area remains very difficult. At the same time, an attempt to attack our positions in the north and to force our soldiers out from the checkpoints 31st and 29th failed. The 29th checkpoint remains under Ukrainian control, the fighting continues near the 31st," Turchynov said.
The ATO headquarters informed earlier that the Ukrainian army stopped the attack of the Russian terrorist troops near the 29th and 31st checkpoints. In the Donetsk airport, hostilities continue.
Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security and Defense Serhii Pashynskyi said that if at least one battalion task group appears in the Chernihiv or Kharkiv region, the war to Russia will be declared.
He said this in an interview with Channel 5 on Tuesday,Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainska Pravda.
"If, God forbid, at least one battalion task group appears in the Chernihiv or Kharkiv region, the war to Russia will be declared, but this is not the scenario we should be dreaming of," he said.
ATO speaker Andrii Lysenko reported Tuesday night that the Russian regular troops attacked the Ukrainian military in the north of the ATO area.
