There is no room for negotiations and normalization of relations in Putin’s doctrine, but it has plenty for provocation, invasion, annexation, war and unprecedented state propaganda.
MEP Jacek Saryusz-Wolski voiced his opinion to Rzeczpospolita, reports Europeiska Pravda.

"There is no room for negotiations and normalization of relations in Putin's doctrine as well as building a positive agenda in relations with the countries of the European Union and the Eastern Partnership, not to mention the United States. But there is plenty room for provocation, invasion, annexation, war and unprecedented state propaganda since the Soviet Union era," the Member of the European Parliament said.

According to him, the Kremlin's appetite stretches beyond Ukraine, the Caucasus, and the Balkans. In addition to the satisfaction of the imperialist ambitions its purpose is to drive a wedge between the European Union and the United States, to split up the EU itself.

"The Russian warplanes' incursions into the NATO countries' air space, the threats to use nuclear weapons, energy pressure, economic sanctions, funding of the anti-European parties - all this weakens the EU from the inside," Saryusz-Wolski said.

According to him, the most important thing for Ukraine now is to overcome the domestic dissent and not allow undermining of Euromaidan achievements.

The MEP further supports the policy of tough economic sanctions against the Russian Federation, noting that it is one of the most effective tools of the European Union.
Earlier, Jacek Saryusz-Wolski reportedly called for the West to answer Russia's aggression with tougher sanctions against the Russian Federation and provide weapons to Ukraine.
