Platoons of the regular Russian Army are fighting in Ilovaisk!

2 Russian KAMAZ trucks that drew bringing reinforcements from Donetsk to help rebels in Ilovaisk. One vehicle was completely destroyed, other one severely damaged.(August 21st 2014)

Fighting continues in Ilovaisk. The terrorists are constantly shelling the Ukrainian troops by Grads, mortars and grenade launchers. Russian staff officers and soldiers are fighting not individually, but in platoons.

Commander of the volunteer Donbas battalion Semen Sementchenko writes about it in his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.

"Thank God, y esterday there were no dead. 5 wounded guys were evacuated by helicopter to Dnipropetrovsk, in the same hospital where we all are. Now there is a separate division of crippled:) of the Donbas battalion in the center of the Dnipropetrovsk. [...] Our friends and colleagues are very helpful. Thank you very much," he wrote.

According Sementchenko, fighting continued in the city: "I'm always in touch with the commanders and fighters. Now the guys, together with a company of infantry are really as the 300 Spartans. They are no 300 of them:(. Constant bombardment by Grad, mortars, AGS ( automatic grenade launchers ). The key points of the terrorists have already been shot a lot, that is why a large number wounded. We are in the left side of the city, while in the right one there is almost twice the amount of the militants. Judging by the captured ones, more than half to them are staff officers and soldiers of the Russian Federation. Some are not even in plain clothes, but in military uniform. They are not just individually scattered in separate divisions, but they are operating in separate platoons, thus it is a real military invasion."

Savur-Mohyla left without obelisk because of shelling.

"Today, along with the brothers of the Dnipropetrovsk, who were not afraid to enter Ilovaisk, the guys have begun to mop up the surrounding neighborhoods. Fighting is conducted with increasing ferocity, apparently in this city we have groped the key hidden weak spot of the Donetsk terrorists, sometimes we even grapple. Yesterday we repeled the last tank attacks, there is nothing to be afraid of, they burn like candles .... " the battalion commander said.

"We will win, because no land is better than Ukraine for us. This is our homeland and that's it. Glory to Ukraine," Sementchenko concluded. 

It has been reported that Russian army truck with weapons overturned in Voronezh region on August 21st 2014. Truck had Ukrainian plates!.
