KYIV - The Russian Armed Forces have for the first time shelled Ukrainian border guards with unguided missiles from helicopters.
Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing on Tuesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"Ukrainian border guards were shelled with unguided rockets from two Mi-24 combat helicopters of the Russian Armed Forces," Lysenko said.
He said that four border guards had been killed and three wounded in the attack.
