Ukrinform: 13. August 2014
KYIV, August 13 - A “humanitarian aid convoy" from Russia to Ukraine is heading for Ukraine bypassing Kharkiv region, a Ukrinform reporter has learnt this from the press office of Kharkiv Regional State Administration on Wednesday.
The "humanitarian "aid "from Russia, as it became known, will be delivered to Ukraine bypassing checkpoints in Kharkiv region. Yet it is unknown what will be the route of the "humanitarian convoy," the report reads.
According to unofficial data, the "humanitarian aid" will be directed through Rostov region.
As Ukrinfrom reported, chairman of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Ihor Baluta said the "humanitarian aid", which today has been expected at Pletnivka checkpoint in Volchansk district of Kharkiv region, would have been immediately reloaded onto Ukrainian trucks and continued movement as the goods of the Red Cross. "The issue of the convoy accompanying Kamaz trucks from Russia with the humanitarian cargo disappears by itself," Baluta said.
